We express our condolences for the death of Mr. Dr. Mahmoud Ahmadzadeh Heravi, a member of the Board of Directors of Persore Company and the first Minister of Industries and Mines.

The funeral ceremony of this prominent and experienced professor will be held on Sunday, 13th of Shahrivar from 16:00 to 17:30 at Noor Mosque located in Fatemi Square, Tehran.

Dr. Mahmoud Ahmadzadeh Heravi, the first Minister of Industries and Mines of the Islamic Republic, was a graduate of Geology from Clausthal University in Germany. He was teaching at the Faculty of Technical Mining Engineering from 1970 to 2000 and in addition to teaching and research activities, in the 1950s and part of the 1960s, he also worked as the director of the mining department of the technical faculty.

Worked as an engineer in the Organization of Industries and Mines before the revolution, Minister of Industries and Mines in the first period of presidentship of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Consultant of the Minister of Industries, CEO of the National Steel Company, the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Yugoslavia, and the head of the Geological Survey and Mineral Exploration of Iran, were the most important responsibilities of this outstanding professor of Tehran University.
